Student Support Services
Support for Every Learner
Our Goal is to Equip Students with the Tools they Need to Grow
We believe every child is uniquely created by God with their own strengths, challenges, and pace of growth. That’s why we offer a variety of programs designed to support, stretch, and strengthen each student’s learning journey. Whether through extension opportunities or personalized resource support, our goal is to nurture confident, capable learners who rise to meet high expectations with encouragement and support every step of the way.
Resource Support
The mission of our Student Support Services (SSS) is to provide inclusive education that values each child as a unique and deeply loved creation of God. We understand that individual learners may need specific accommodations or modifications to reach their full potential and we’re here to provide that support with care and intention. Whenever possible, students with exceptionalities are included in the regular classroom environment. In some cases, students also benefit from alternate programming, which may include one-on-one instruction or small group support in our SSS room. These programs are tailored to meet individual needs across subjects and learning goals.

Learning Extensions
Learning extensions are designed to engage students in higher-order thinking such as creating, evaluating, and analyzing and to encourage critical and creative problem solving. These opportunities complement our regular programming and challenge students to think in new and exciting ways.
Students in Grades 4–6 who demonstrate strong participation in their classroom activities and an interest in extending their learning beyond curricular expectations are selected and invited to participate in these enriching activities.
Cognitive Strengthening
Our Cognitive Strengthening program is based in neuroplasticity research and provides students with daily opportunities to improve their learning capacity through targeted brain-based exercises. This program is especially helpful for students who experience challenges with focus and attention, executive functioning (such as organization and problem-solving), emotion regulation, or skill development in reading, writing, or math. These structured exercises are designed to help students build the cognitive tools they need to succeed more confidently in the classroom.
